Social Emotional Learning Resource Library
The School Social Work Association of Arizona firmly supports Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in Arizona Schools. An abundance of research extending over two decades has shown a conclusive correlation between Social Emotional Learning and improved educational outcomes in all areas, including academic achievement, attendance, behavior, mental health, and graduation rates (Taylor,2017). SEL is a vital component in supporting students’ academic achievement, as well as their social development, mental health and future outcomes.
The following resources are provided for school social workers to add to their resource library. School social workers, therapists, educators, administrators and researchers created the following resources to support school professionals deliver evidence-based SEL support.
