SSWAAZ firmly supports Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in Arizona Schools. An abundance of research extending over two decades has shown a conclusive correlation between Social Emotional Learning and improved educational outcomes in all areas, including academic achievement, attendance, behavior, mental health, and graduation rates (Taylor,2017). SEL is a vital component in supporting students’ academic achievement, as well as their social development, mental health and future outcomes.
