SSWAAZ School Social Work Week 2024
The School Social Work Association of America is proud to promote National School Social Work Week, held the first full calendar week of March (Sunday – Saturday). SSWAA collects and shares resources to help you celebrate and promote School Social Work Week. We hope you will make some great plans to celebrate as well as receive much-deserved recognition for the vital role that you provide to students, administrators, teachers, educators, parents, and the community! This year’s theme is Pearls of Wisdom as we celebrate each unique area of School Social Work.
As part of our State wide celebration, SSWAAZ will be sending out a letter to County and School District Superintendents throughout the state in recognition of the tremendous contributions that school social workers make to the students, staff, schools, families and communities they serve.
As your professional organization, SSWAAZ is here to advocate for and recognize each of its members. If there is a supervisor or administrator in your own district who you wish to receive SSWAAZ’s School Social Work Week Recognition letter, you may submit their name and e-mail address here so that they can be included in our e-mail list for this one time communication
